As a senior audit manager in the firm’s Assurance and Business Advisory Group, Larisa serves privately-held companies, both for-profits and not-for-profits, in areas such as audits, reviews, agreed-upon procedures, internal control assessments, restructuring, due-diligence and management reporting.  Larisa brings over fifteen years of experience to each engagement and is adept in operational risk, control, and reorganization projects, in both domestic and international environments.

Larisa assists clients with accounting matters such as share based payments, revenue recognition, software capitalization, equity transactions, debt restructuring and recapitalization.  Her areas of expertise include accounting and financial reporting, internal controls and fraud risk assessments, agreed-upon procedures, acquisitions and consolidations, and reconciliation of GAAP income to income under international accounting standards.

Throughout her career, Larisa has led numerous private company attestation engagements in a variety of industries including food processing, retail, consumer goods, apparel, manufacturing, distribution, health care, biotechnology, information technology, non-profits, and governmental reporting.  

Education

Larisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in economics with an accounting emphasis from Ben Gurion University of Negev, Israel, and her Master of Business Administration in finance at Golden Gate University.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants, Larisa holds her CPA licenses in California, Delaware, and Israel.  Larisa is also a member of The California Israel Chamber of Commerce and The Financial Women's Association of San Francisco, where Larisa leads the mentoring committee.
