Amy is a partner at DZH Phillips LLP. She has extensive experience in providing tax services for individuals and their related businesses, trusts, estates and exempt organizations. Amy’s clients include venture capitalists, private equity partners, entrepreneurs/founders, corporate executives and closely held business owners.
Amy works closely with our clients and members of her client-service team to provide tax minimization strategies, such as alternative minimum tax reduction, stock-option planning, and estate, gift and charitable-giving strategies.
In addition to working with our clients, Amy has delivered income tax presentations to employee groups and outside organizations on tax topics that include stock option strategies and other current tax issues and planning ideas.
Amy has more than 17 years of public accounting experience. Prior to the formation of DZH Phillips, she was a partner at one of the predecessor firms, Daoro Zydel & Holland. Before joining DZH, Amy held the position of senior tax manager for Deloitte & Touche.
Education
Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Jose State University.
