Barbara is a partner at DZH Phillips LLP. She has extensive experience providing tax and accounting services to a list of clients that includes individuals as well as partnerships, trusts and companies.

Barbara has also provided a broad range of services to our clients, including compiled and reviewed financial statements and personal and business tax planning and compliance. She works closely with her clients throughout the year to find solutions to accounting and tax issues as they arise and to ease the burdens of tax and financial statement compliance in a timely and efficient manner.

Barbara started her career as a senior audit manager with the national firm of Alexander Grant & Co. She then became a manager at Wilson, McCall & Daoro, and later one of the partners of Daoro Zydel & Holland, one of San Francisco's leading local CPA firms.  When DZH merged with Smith, Lange & Phillips, Barbara became one of the partners in the newly formed firm, DZH Phillips.

Education

Barbara received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from California State University at Hayward and her Master of Science degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.
