Robert Daoro is partner at DZH Phillips LLP. He has extensive expertise in audits, reviews, and compilations; management consulting and advisory assistance (which includes projects such as forecasting, budgeting, business plans, and financing); tax planning, strategic planning, personal financial planning and succession planning. Robert is also experienced in real estate and investment partnerships, law firms, maritime companies and professional service companies.
Robert started his accounting career as an audit manager with the national firm of Alexander Grant & Co. He then became a founding and managing partner of Wilson, McCall & Daoro, and later one of the founding partners of Daoro Zydel & Holland, one of San Francisco's leading local CPA firms. When DZH merged with SLP, Robert became one of the partners in the subsequent firm, DZH Phillips.
Education
Robert received his Bachelor of Arts in accounting from San Francisco State University, a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University and a Master of Science in taxation from Golden Gate University.
Associations
Robert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the California Council for International Trade. He is also an active member of the Management of Accounting Practice Executive Committee for CPAmerica International.
Robert performs community-directed volunteer efforts through a number of nonprofit organizations. He is a board member for Compass Community Services, Inc., a long-established San Francisco agency with a focus on the disadvantaged and homeless. He is also a past treasurer for Educational Foundation of Orinda, which provides financial support for the public schools.
