Julie is a principal with DZH Phillips LLP. She has more than 30 years of comprehensive accounting experience, including tax return and financial statement preparation. Julie works with both individuals and businesses to develop long-term tax and succession-planning strategies.

Prior to the formation of DZH Phillips, Julie was a principal at one of the predecessor firms, Daoro Zydel & Holland.  In this capacity, Julie worked with clients across a wide range of industries, including agriculture, wholesale and retail sales, athletic equipment, grocery stores and real estate.

Julie also developed expertise in liability issues and in defending clients in audits initiated by the IRS, the Franchise Tax Board, the Employment Development Department and the State Board of Equalization.  Before joining DZH, Julie was a founding partner at Beck, Marder & Beck.

Education

Julie obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Arizona State University.
