We know that your career is important to you. We also know that work isn't the only aspect of your life you care about. Your Well-being

Salary: Our salaries are competitive with other Bay Area accounting firms, and in many cases, on a par with larger national firms. Performance reviews are scheduled semi-annually, and promotions and salary increases are awarded based on performance.

Benefits: DZH Phillips offers medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, dependent care, health care reimbursement plans, an employee assistance plan, commuter checks, and 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan. Each of these plans was selected carefully with the goal of bringing you the highest level of services and benefits possible.

Paid Personal Time: During your first year with our company, you will receive five weeks paid time off, which includes vacation time and sick time. You'll also receive nine firm holidays. This personal time is intended to give you the rest and relaxation that will help you to revitalize, perform at your best, and enjoy your life.

Part of the Community

At DZH Phillips, one of our shared values is investing in and supporting our community. Our firm and employees provide financial assistance, product donations, and volunteerism to nonprofit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some of our current and past efforts include:

Compass Community Services: Compass assists homeless and low-income families, providing services to help them to achieve financial stability. Every holiday season, DZH Phillips employees team up to sponsor families in the community. We provide new toys, gifts, food, and other items that will help make the season just a bit brighter.

Tax-Aid: Each year at tax time, DZH Phillips sponsors a free tax return preparation program at the Visitacion Valley Community Center. Our team members provide free tax return preparation services to each low-income individual or family who visits the center.

Nonprofit Board Participation: Many of our staff members hold positions on the boards of nonprofit organizations. We support their efforts and give them the time they need to be successful in their roles.

Green Initiative: We believe in supporting the environment, and are in the midst of "going paperless." We hope to transition the majority of our practice to a paperless environment by the middle of 2009.
