Overview

At first bite, most CPAs look the same. But you’re not the same as everyone else. You deserve a CPA who knows that, who knows you. Someone who goes beyond what’s expected to bring you a level of service and expertise that will simply redefine the way you look at your CPA relationship. At the heart of the DZH Phillips’ client experience is our Client C.A.R.E. program, a structured process that provides regular opportunities to explore how we can best partner with you to achieve your objectives.

We C.A.R.E.

DZH Phillips’ Client C.A.R.E. is a multiple touch-point program intended to structure client/partner engagement, encourage deeper and more meaningful professional relationships, and recognize and reward clients. The acronym C.A.R.E. stands for Communicate, Appreciate, Recognize, and Evaluate — four vital components of the client/partner relationship.

We C.A.R.E.

With the Client C.A.R.E. Welcome Program, we are your trusted advisor from the very beginning, offering a level of service and attentiveness that our competitors cannot match. The Welcome Program provides a fixed structure for your first month with DZH Phillips, fosters a strong and supportive connection between you and your CPA, and introduces you to areas of firm expertise.

Week 1

You’ll receive a Client C.A.R.E. Welcome Packet, including your Client Bill of Rights — a straightforward summary of our guaranteed service commitments. As a member of the DZH Phillips family, you have a right to expect:

  • People who invest the time to understand and best serve your needs
  • Efficient and prompt service from partners and staff who are easy to reach and responsive
  • A comprehensive menu of services and staff with the skills and resources to perform the work
  • Accurate and authoritative information
  • Technology that serves you by providing fast and easy access to your account, as well as industry resources and reports
  • Professionals who are active in their field and knowledgeable about changing regulations and standards
  • Reasonable cost for services
  • Specialized guidance to help you lower expenses, limit tax liability, and maximize profitability now and in the future

Week 2

It’s your turn to give us some feedback. You’ll receive a needs assessment form to evaluate current and upcoming business objectives and concerns, as well as your interest in additional services provided by DZH Phillips.

Week 3

Your CPA will call to review the needs assessment form. Following this review, you will be sent a letter summarizing your CPA’s recommendations.

Week 4

We’ll be in touch to talk through our assessment review recommendations and to schedule your next Client C.A.R.E. meeting.

We strive to build lasting professional relationships with our clients, built on mutual trust and respect. Client C.A.R.E. allows us to have a more complete and meaningful knowledge of your needs, wants, and concerns, and to implement a systematic method of evaluating and addressing issues as they arise. Through the Client C.A.R.E. program, you’ll have regular opportunities to provide feedback through surveys and questionnaires, periodic scheduled meetings, needs assessments, and ongoing discussions with your CPA. Client C.A.R.E. meetings also serve as an opportunity for our professionals to share expertise or insight in a given area of concern or business focus—such as an update on new legislation, an interesting case analysis, or a published report or study. And all meetings end with a firm commitment to follow up on any action items.
